Simple Backstitch Alphabet Cross Stitch Pattern

Simple backstitch alphabet for small, readable lettering on any cross stitch project. Upper and lower case A to Z plus numbers 0 to 9, capitals 4 stitches high. The smallest alphabet in our range with a full character set. One stitch shorter than our Small Backstitch Alphabet, and the littlest of our fonts to include proper lower case, so sentences read naturally instead of in capitals.

Backstitch only, no full cross stitches. Charted in a single colour, but stitch it in any DMC shade, and use one, two, or more strands depending on how bold you want the letters.

• Numbers: 3 stitches high
• A to Z in upper and lower case, plus 0 to 9
• Works on any fabric count
