Congo cross stitch pattern, the Republic of the Congo, often called Congo-Brazzaville. The country curves like a hook and the diagonal tricolour follows that curve, green through the western bulge, yellow along the middle, red running up the eastern arm to the northern tip.

Four shades and just over seven hundred stitches, with a lot of backstitch: this shape has more coastline and border detail than most in the series, and the outlining is what holds it together. Part of the Tiny Little Countries series.
