Cottage Backstitch Alphabet Cross Stitch Pattern

Cottage Backstitch Alphabet, a whimsical fairytale cross stitch font with curled tails and scrolled flourishes on every letter. Upper and lower case A to Z plus numbers 0 to 9, capitals 9 to 11 stitches high. The tallest and fanciest alphabet in our range, stitched entirely in backstitch. If our Simple Backstitch Alphabet is the sensible one, this is the sister who lives in the woods and talks to birds.

Backstitch only, no full cross stitches. Charted in a single colour, but stitch it in whatever DMC shade suits your project, and use one, two, or more strands depending on how bold you want the lettering.
